Ingredients

For the Oats
  • 2 cups Rolled Oats Use old-fashioned rolled oats for best texture.
  • 2 cups Almond Milk Unsweetened almond milk is recommended.
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds Helps to thicken the oats.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract For added flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
For the Toppings
  • ½ cup Shredded Coconut Unsweetened for a healthier option.
  • ½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips Use semi-sweet or dark chocolate.
  • ½ cup Chopped Almonds Roasted almonds add extra crunch.

Method

Prepare the Oats
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Stir well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. The chia seeds will help thicken the mixture as it sits.
  2. Divide the oat mixture evenly into four mason jars or containers. Seal with lids and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 6 hours) to allow the oats to absorb the liquid and soften.
Add Toppings
  1. In the morning, remove the jars from the refrigerator. Stir the oats to combine, then top each serving with shredded coconut, dark chocolate chips, and chopped almonds. This adds a delightful texture and flavor reminiscent of an Almond Joy candy bar.
  2. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Almond Joy Overnight Oats!
