Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound Ground turkey a lean protein
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs substitute with gluten-free breadcrumbs if desired
  • 1 small onion, diced sweet and aromatic
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced fresh garlic recommended
  • 1 large egg acts as a binder
  • ¼ cup milk almond or oat milk for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper freshly ground recommended

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease a medium-sized baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. Combine all the ingredients in a spacious mixing bowl and mix until incorporated.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1½- to 2-inch balls and place them in the greased baking dish, with space between each.
  4. Bake for about 20–25 minutes until golden-brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
