  • 4 drops blue food coloring
For the Coating
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts high-quality
  • blue sparkling sugar or sprinkles for decoration

How to Make Blue Christmas Truffles
  1. Beat softened cream cheese until it’s nice and smooth, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing thoroughly until well combined and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract, almond extract, and blue food coloring, mixing until color is evenly distributed.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts and roll them into balls, using water on hands to prevent sticking.
  5. Place rolled truffles on a parchment-lined tray and freeze for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt white chocolate in the microwave using 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each frozen truffle into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
  8. Sprinkle coated truffles with blue sparkling sugar immediately.
  9. Let truffles set at room temperature or chill in the fridge for 15 minutes before serving.
