Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries washed and stems removed
  • 1 banana ripe peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1 cup almond milk unsweetened or sweetened based on preference
  • 2 tablespoons honey adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional for added flavor
  • 1 cup ice cubes optional for a thicker texture

Method

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Gather all the ingredients on a clean countertop. Ensure the blueberries are fresh and washed thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides.
  2. Peel and slice the banana. A ripe banana will add natural sweetness and creaminess to the smoothie.
Blend the Smoothie
  1. In a blender, add the fresh blueberries, sliced banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey, and vanilla extract. This combination provides a creamy texture and a burst of flavor.
  2. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add the ice cubes at this stage.
  3. Blend on high speed for about 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop the blender and scrape down the sides if necessary to ensure everything is well combined.
Serve the Smoothie
  1. Once blended, taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
  2. Pour the smoothie into glasses or mason jars. You can garnish with a few whole blueberries or a slice of banana on the rim for presentation.
  3. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
