How to Make Boursin Cheese Chicken
- Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create 4 thin cutlets. Season both sides generously with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken cutlets for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the chopped onion to the same skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft and slightly golden.
- Pour in the chicken broth and add the Boursin cheese. Stir over low heat until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth. Let it simmer for 5 minutes to thicken slightly, then stir in the chopped parsley.
- Return the cooked chicken and any accumulated juices back to the skillet. Simmer everything for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
