  • 3 medium Apples Granny Smith recommended
  • 3 tablespoons Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons Butter thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Caramel sauce for drizzling
Optional for Serving
  • 1 scoop Vanilla ice cream

How to Make Caramel Apple Puff Pastries
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Slice the apples thinly while the puff pastry is thawing.
  3. Mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small bowl.
  4. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 6 equal rectangles and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Poke the center of each pastry rectangle with a fork a few times.
  6. Arrange the apple slices in a line on each piece of pastry, slightly overlapping them.
  7. Sprinkle each pastry with 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Top each pastry with a thin slice of butter.
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the pastries are puffed and lightly browned.
  10. Drizzle generously with caramel sauce as soon as they come out of the oven.
  11. Optional: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
