Method
Prepare the Chicken Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Taste the filling and adjust seasoning as needed. Set aside.
Prepare the Crescent Rolls
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Open the cans of crescent roll dough and unroll the dough onto a clean surface. Separate the dough into triangles as indicated on the packaging.
Assemble the Rolls
- Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken filling at the wide end of each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the dough towards the pointed end, enclosing the filling. Pinch the ends to seal.
- Place the rolled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
Apply Egg Wash
- In a small bowl, whisk together the beaten egg and water to create an egg wash.
- Brush the tops of the crescent rolls with the egg wash to give them a golden color when baked.
Bake the Rolls
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes
These chicken crescent rolls can be made ahead of time and frozen. Just bake them straight from the freezer, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
