Ingredients
  

Brownie Base
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking powder
Mousse Layer
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 4 ounces Semisweet chocolate finely chopped
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoons Powdered sugar
Ganache Topping
  • 4 ounces Semisweet chocolate finely chopped
  • ½ cup Heavy cream

Method
 

Making the Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold gently.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
Making the Mousse and Ganache
  1. Heat milk and pour it over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth and let cool.
  2. Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold a spoonful of whipped cream into the chocolate, then fold in the remaining cream.
  4. Spread mousse over cooled brownies and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  5. Heat heavy cream and pour over chopped chocolate for ganache. Stir until smooth.
  6. Pour ganache over mousse layer and refrigerate for an additional hour.
  7. Lift brownies from the pan using parchment overhang and slice into squares.
