Frosting Preparation
- Take the cream cheese and butter out of the fridge and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together for 2-3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
- Pour in the vanilla extract, then gradually incorporate the powdered sugar while mixing slowly.
- Beat on low speed, then increase to medium-high until everything is well combined and creamy.
- If too thick, add milk or heavy cream one teaspoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- Spread the frosting over warm cinnamon rolls or let cool for a thicker layer.
