Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until fully blended.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and ground ginger. Gradually fold this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
  4. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20–24 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and orange zest, beating until fluffy.
  7. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled bars.
  8. Top with chopped dried cranberries and drizzle melted white chocolate over the bars.
  9. Chill for at least 30 minutes before slicing into squares or triangles.
