Making the Bread
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Prepare your loaf pan by greasing or lining it with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter or shortening with the sugar until light and fluffy.
- Combine the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Incorporate the wet ingredients: orange zest, orange juice, and beaten egg.
- Fold in the cranberries and nuts gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
