Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature is crucial for achieving a crispy skin.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme. Mix well to create a marinade.
  4. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and rub the marinade all over the chicken, ensuring even coverage. This step infuses the chicken with flavor.
  5. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are spaced apart to allow air circulation for crispiness.
Bake the Chicken
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.
  2. For extra crispiness, you can broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
