Method
 

How to Make Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Soup
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Sear the chicken in a mix of olive oil and butter for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch in your slow cooker until smooth.
  4. Add the heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to the slow cooker.
  5. Transfer the seared chicken into the Crockpot and drizzle the remaining oil and butter over the top.
  6. Toss in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, cover the Crockpot, and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours.
  7. Remove the chicken from the pot and stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted.
  8. Return the chicken to the soup and top it off with freshly chopped basil just before serving.
