How to Make Crockpot Marry Me Chicken Soup
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the chicken in a mix of olive oil and butter for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Whisk together the chicken broth and cornstarch in your slow cooker until smooth.
- Add the heavy cream, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to the slow cooker.
- Transfer the seared chicken into the Crockpot and drizzle the remaining oil and butter over the top.
- Toss in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, cover the Crockpot, and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours.
- Remove the chicken from the pot and stir in the grated parmesan cheese until melted.
- Return the chicken to the soup and top it off with freshly chopped basil just before serving.
