Ingredients
  

For the Panna Cotta
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Eggnog
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Unflavored gelatin
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
For the Spiked Cranberry Sauce
  • 2 cups Cranberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon Orange zest
  • cup Granulated sugar for sauce
  • ¼ cup Orange liqueur such as Grand Marnier
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 1 cup Sugared cranberries
  • 2 strips Orange peel twists

Method
 

For the Panna Cotta
  1. Bloom the Gelatin: Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over ¼ cup of cold water and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Heat the Cream Mixture: In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the heavy cream, eggnog, and ½ cup sugar until fully dissolved.
  3. Melt the Gelatin: Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until melted.
  4. Add Vanilla: Pour in the vanilla extract and stir gently.
  5. Pour into Serving Dishes: Carefully pour the mixture into serving glasses or ramekins.
  6. Chill to Set: Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until set.
For the Spiked Cranberry Sauce
  1. Combine Ingredients: In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, and ⅓ cup sugar.
  2. Simmer Until Thickened: Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10–12 minutes.
  3. Add Liqueur: Stir in the orange liqueur once thickened.
  4. Cool the Sauce: Let the cranberry sauce cool to room temperature.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Spoon the sauce over the chilled panna cotta and garnish if desired.
