How to Make Gluten-Free Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl: avocado oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and the egg.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until a dough forms.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes.
  6. Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of the chilled dough and roll into balls, then coat each ball in powdered sugar.
  7. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, staggering them for space.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cookies are crackled and just set.
  9. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 2–3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
