How to Make
- Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandolin slicer for even thickness, about 1/16 inch.
- Soak the slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
- Drain and pat the slices dry with paper towels.
- Toss the dry slices in a large bowl with olive oil, sea salt, and garlic powder (if using).
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Remove the chips and cool them on a wire rack or on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
