Ingredients
  

For the Chips
  • 2 large Russet potatoes Ideal for crispy chips due to their starchy texture.
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil A little goes a long way for crispiness.
  • to taste Sea salt Enhances flavor; adjust to preference.
  • to taste Garlic powder (optional) Adds flavor if desired.
  • to taste Chopped parsley (optional) For garnish.

  • Air Fryer

Method
 

How to Make
  1. Slice the potatoes thinly using a mandolin slicer for even thickness, about 1/16 inch.
  2. Soak the slices in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.
  3. Drain and pat the slices dry with paper towels.
  4. Toss the dry slices in a large bowl with olive oil, sea salt, and garlic powder (if using).
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Arrange the potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes until golden and crisp.
  8. Remove the chips and cool them on a wire rack or on a paper towel-lined plate.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
