Making the Rolls
- Warm the milk to 110°F, stir in yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, add eggs, melted butter, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 8 minutes until smooth. Place in greased bowl and let rise until doubled, about 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Mix softened butter, sugar, and orange zest for the filling.
- Roll risen dough into a 12x18 inch rectangle, spread filling evenly, roll into a log, and cut into 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover and let rise for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat oven to 350°F and bake rolls for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and orange juice for glaze until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve immediately.
