Ingredients
Method
Make the Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of brown sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, creating a simple syrup.
- Add ½ cup of canned pumpkin puree and 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice to the saucepan. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. This helps to meld the flavors together.
- Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Allow the syrup to cool completely before using.
Prepare the Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
- In a large glass, add 2 cups of ice cubes. This will chill the latte and keep it refreshing.
- Pour 2 cups of cooled strong brewed coffee over the ice. The coffee should be brewed strong to ensure the flavor stands out against the milk and syrup.
- Add ¼ cup of the prepared pumpkin spice syrup to the coffee. Adjust the amount based on your sweetness preference.
- Pour in 1 cup of milk (or your preferred dairy-free alternative) and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
- Top with whipped cream if desired and sprinkle a little pumpkin pie spice on top for garnish.
- Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy your homemade iced pumpkin spice latte!

Notes
For a stronger pumpkin flavor, increase the amount of pumpkin puree in the syrup. This recipe can be easily doubled for larger servings.
