Cooking Steps
- Melt the butter in a large pan with a lid over medium heat, allowing it to foam and become fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and 2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning.
- Brown the chicken for 1–2 minutes on each side until nicely golden brown, then remove and set aside.
- Combine the uncooked white rice, chicken broth, lemon juice, and the remaining teaspoon of Italian seasoning in the pan.
- Nestle the browned chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
- Cover the pan and simmer over medium-low heat for 20–25 minutes.
- Fluff the rice gently with a fork once done and garnish with lemon wedges or fresh herbs.
