Ingredients

For the Brownie Batter
  • 1 box brownie mix Quick and convenient, saves you from measuring cocoa powder.
  • 2 large eggs Essential for binding the ingredients and adding moisture.
  • ½ cup melted butter Adds richness; feel free to use vegan butter for a dairy-free option.
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour For those making from scratch; helps create that perfect brownie texture.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Sweetens the batter and balances the bitterness of the cocoa.
  • ¼ teaspoon salt Enhances flavors by contrasting the sweetness.
For the Peanut Butter Filling
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter Provides that irresistible nutty flavor; try chunky for extra texture!
For the Topping
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Melts beautifully over the warm peanut butter, making it extra indulgent.

  • mini muffin tin
  • mixing bowl
  • microwave

Method

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your mini muffin tin or line it with paper liners for easy cleanup.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter by mixing melted butter, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Fill each muffin cup about ⅔ full with the brownie batter.
  4. Bake the cups for 12–15 minutes, or until the tops are set.
  5. Press the center of each brownie cup gently right after baking to create a small well.
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter to each well while the brownies are still warm.
  7. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the peanut butter filling while it’s still soft.
  8. Cool the brownie cups in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Serve warm for a gooey texture or chill them if you prefer a firmer bite.
