How to Make
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the two sheets of puff pastry into equal rectangles, about ⅛ inch thick.
- Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over one of the pastry sheets, leaving a 1 cm border around the edges.
- Layer the brie slices over the cranberry sauce, followed by the chopped pistachios and optional orange zest.
- Carefully place the second pastry sheet on top and press the edges firmly to seal.
- Cut out a large triangle shape from the filled pastry to create the Christmas tree form.
- Slice horizontal branches along both sides of the triangle, leaving the bottom intact for decoration.
- Gently twist each branch outward to form a lovely spiral.
- Brush the entire surface with egg wash and bake for 22–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
