How to Make Protein Waffles
  1. In a mixing bowl, mix together the protein powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Ensure they are well combined for a consistent batter.
  2. Pour in the water, egg whites, and yogurt (or applesauce). Stir well to combine, creating a smooth batter that is slightly thick yet pourable.
  3. If your batter feels too thick, slowly add a bit more liquid until it reaches the perfect waffle batter texture—smooth and creamy!
  4. While you’re adjusting the batter, preheat your waffle iron and grease it generously.
  5. Pour the batter into the center of the preheated iron, close the lid, and cook until the waffles turn golden brown and crisp—about 3 minutes, but keep an eye on them!
  6. For each new batch, remember to give your waffle iron a quick re-grease to prevent sticking.
  7. Once cooked, transfer the waffles to a plate and serve immediately with your favorite toppings.
