- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly with butter.
- Combine the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, red food coloring, and salt in a large bowl. Mix until smooth, then add the white vinegar.
- Beat the eggs in a separate bowl until well combined, then mix into the brownie mixture.
- Fold in the flour gently until just combined.
- Spread most of the brownie batter into the pan, saving ¼ cup for the topping.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg yolk until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake layer evenly over the brownie base, dollop the reserved brownie batter on top.
- Swirl gently with a knife or toothpick to create a marbled design.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before removing and slicing.
