Equipment

  • juicer
  • blender
  • nut milk bag or sieve

Method

How to Make Simple Green Apple Soda
  1. Chop 3–5 fresh green apples depending on your juicer type. For bladed juicers, use 3-5 apples; for slow juicers, use 2-3 apples. If using a blender, chop and blend with up to ½ cup of water, then strain through a nut milk bag or sieve for smooth juice.
  2. Immediately pour the extracted apple juice into a bowl and add freshly squeezed lime juice to prevent oxidation, preserving that vibrant green color!
  3. If desired, stir in spirulina powder with a whisk or briefly blend to enhance color and add a unique nutritional boost.
  4. Carefully add the sparkling spring water to the juice mixture. Adjust the ratio based on your taste preference—more sparkling water for milder flavor or less for a bolder apple punch.
  5. Pour your refreshing drink into glasses and, for an extra touch, garnish with lime or apple slices. Coat the apple slices with lime or lemon juice to keep them from browning.

Use ripe, fresh apples for the best flavor and mix apple juice with lime juice immediately after juicing to prevent oxidation. Adjust the ratio of sparkling water based on personal preference for sweetness or tartness.
