How to Make
  1. Prepare the Ribs: Remove the silver membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix the Dry Rub: In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Season the Ribs: Generously rub the dry mixture over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Cut for Fit: Cut the racks into halves or thirds depending on your slow cooker size.
  5. Arrange in the Slow Cooker: Place the ribs in the slow cooker with the meaty side facing the wall of the insert.
  6. Add Sauce and Vinegar: Pour barbecue sauce over the ribs, then add apple cider vinegar and liquid smoke.
  7. Cook to Perfection: Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
