  • 1 pack Prepared pizza dough or flatbread Store-bought or homemade
Toppings
  • 2 cups Cooked shredded chicken Use leftover chicken
  • ½ cup Barbecue sauce Your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese Gooey and melty
Extras
  • ¼ cup Pickled jalapeño slices Add heat to the pizza
  • ¼ cup Thinly sliced red onion Crisp texture
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil For drizzling before serving
  • ¼ cup Chopped fresh cilantro or parsley Fresh garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, pop it in to heat up.
  2. Roll out your prepared dough on a floured surface until it reaches your desired thickness. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
  3. Spread the barbecue sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border all around.
  4. Top your pizza with cooked shredded chicken, sprinkling it evenly across the surface before adding mozzarella cheese.
  5. Add the pickled jalapeño slices and thinly sliced red onion over the cheese.
  6. Bake your pizza on the center rack for 10-13 minutes, or 7-10 minutes if using a pizza stone.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley. Slice and serve.
