How to Make Spicy Chicken and Pickled Jalapeno Pizza
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you’re using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
- Roll out your dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
- Spread barbecue sauce evenly over the dough, leaving about a ½-inch border.
- Top with shredded chicken evenly, followed by a generous layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Add pickled jalapeño slices and thinly sliced red onions over the cheese.
- Bake on the center rack for 10–13 minutes, or on a pizza stone for 7–10 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let it rest for about 2–3 minutes before slicing.
- Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley before serving.
