Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough
  • 1 box Strawberry cake mix
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large Large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Strawberry extract
  • 4 oz Cream cheese softened
Decoration
  • ½ cup Pink sanding sugar
  • 48 pieces Hershey’s Kisses frozen

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Unwrap Hershey’s Kisses and place them in a bowl to freeze.
  2. Mix the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, egg, and strawberry extract in a large bowl until a dough forms.
  3. Add the softened cream cheese and blend thoroughly until smooth.
  4. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Scoop the dough into 48 portions and roll each in pink sanding sugar.
  7. Place 12 dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 8 minutes.
  8. Let the cookies sit on the tray for 2 minutes after baking.
  9. Press a frozen Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
  10. Allow them to cool completely before storing.
