How to Make Strawberry Sweetheart Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 325ºF, and prepare an 8-inch heart-shaped or round pan by lining it with parchment paper and a nonstick spray.
  2. Melt the butter and white chocolate together gently.
  3. Mix in sugar and salt until everything is well blended and smooth.
  4. Whisk in the egg and yolks until fully combined.
  5. Strain the strawberry purée to remove seeds, then set aside 2 tablespoons for the icing.
  6. Combine the remaining purée with vanilla extract, strawberry extract, and optional food coloring.
  7. Fold in the sifted flour little by little until fully combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top if necessary.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Cool the brownies completely in the pan.
  11. For the icing, whisk together all icing ingredients until smooth.
