How to Make Strawberry Sweetheart Brownies
- Preheat your oven to 325ºF, and prepare an 8-inch heart-shaped or round pan by lining it with parchment paper and a nonstick spray.
- Melt the butter and white chocolate together gently.
- Mix in sugar and salt until everything is well blended and smooth.
- Whisk in the egg and yolks until fully combined.
- Strain the strawberry purée to remove seeds, then set aside 2 tablespoons for the icing.
- Combine the remaining purée with vanilla extract, strawberry extract, and optional food coloring.
- Fold in the sifted flour little by little until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top if necessary.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the brownies completely in the pan.
- For the icing, whisk together all icing ingredients until smooth.
- Spread the icing evenly over the cooled brownies.
