Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Dough
  • 17.5 oz Sugar cookie mix a package
  • ½ cup Salted butter melted
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 large Egg at room temperature
  • a few drops Pink or red food coloring
For the Filling
  • 24-26 pieces Hershey’s Hugs unwrapped candies
Optional Toppings
  • to taste Decorative sprinkles

Method
 

How to Make Valentine’s Day Cookie Cups
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prep a mini cupcake pan by spraying it with cooking spray.
  2. Combine in a large bowl the sugar cookie mix, melted butter, flour, egg, and food coloring until just combined.
  3. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and flatten it. Place a Hershey’s Hug in the center.
  4. Wrap the dough around the candy to form a ball, fixing any cracks.
  5. Place each dough ball upright into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set and lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and gently press decorative sprinkles into the tops of each cookie cup while warm.
  8. Cool for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
